SARAH’S PHOTOGRAPHY WEBSITE FROM 2014 SOLO EXHIBITION
I personally find it vastly interesting how initially my publications focused around raising awareness of BPD/EUPD and how much I was brainwashed by the professionals who I saw as the “experts” who I was made to believe I should trust. I trusted what they told me was wrong with me an I initially trusted the treatment I was receiving for the diagnosis I was told I had.
the more and more I taught myself and the more I read, the more and more I moved away from this trust in the professionals and this trust in my diagnosis
These days, the topics of my publications are around “misdiagnosis”; “harm caused by the healthcare system”, “PTSD from the healthcare system”, “the difference a diagnosis makes” and I am passionate about raising awareness of the chronic complex illnesses and comorbidities which affects my daily life so profoundly and I had to fight so very hard to get diagnosed.
